korean food too spicy >.< lol. and erm.. korean dramas are really boring and lengthy.. like all taiwanese and china and TVB series and the endings' like doesn't make sense.

But gotta admit some korean dramas can be hilarious. but i don't like the dubbed version. Original's always the best.

iv been to korea but not to japan. i reaaaaaalli wanna go to japan tho, coz it seems many things are there.

for food, def Japanese. sushi, tempura, teriyaki are actualli nice and i could eat it everyday. when i was in korea for just 4 days i got bored of the hotpots, kimchi and bbqs. that was all we ate and totalli not my style of food.

Music, i find i like Japanese better as the language sounds smoother. also the melody seems to vary and it has different styles. Korean music sounds a bit forced to me, dont know why. the one korean song that i like is Rain's Full House OST, called why.

Dramas i think both. Japanese are more straight to the point and active plot. They always have that one annoying character that knocks the hell out of yu. i love them dramas with JE boys in them. Kdramas are more comedy (in the ones iv watched anyway). they are draggy but they have good romance stories but sometimes it just makes me cry too much. Kdramas too have very annoying antagonists. oh and love triangles totally suck even tho a lot of dramas have them.

dont know much about fashion in both of these countries but i love how the teenage guys in Japan dress. (from what iv observed).

so for me, its def Japan.

Cultural / habits : I like their way of thinking. Few exemples: from how they are pouring drinks to each others to how they are excusing themself for whatever occasion. Their way of eating. The language sounds better to my ears as well. Also, I like their writing with hiragana, katakana and Kanji. I thinks it's beautiful. Their way of thinking is also so zen and selfless.

KOREA

Food: yea some are good .. but I get bored after a while ...
Fashion: some are really fancy, it looks cool but some kind of overdoing it. It's their color fashion sense that [...] me. :dede: others than that. I don't mind their clothing.
Animation and mangas I haven't seen any Korean anime yet. I've read some manhwas. I found out that their directional theme is often related to love. which is a great thing for me because I enjoy seeing love everywhere ... even in ghost stories ... but this tends to makes it drags a little. The drawing itself, I'm not yet used to it. It's simply how they draw the eyes. It's different to what I used to see in manga. I guess I'll be fine after a while.
Music: I like their instrumental the most. Songs lyrics are often goods and meaningful. But their melody reminds me much of R&B and pop or sad ballade. ... I'm not often tempted to listen to their song. But I usually get emotional when I get to know the meaning of a love song for exemple. Their PV are nicely done as well.
Drama Serials: I watch Kdrama when I see actors or actresses that I like playing it. They often have a great ost which is perfect for me. Their dramas might seems all the same but I think the Koreans are producing way better production than some company I used to cheer up for. storywise, casting, blablabla ...
Movie Somehow I feel Korean are producing visually better movie than the Japanese. Korean got goods productions. But I'm not that much attached after seeing one. Unlike Japanese production that often leaves me an impression after finishing one.
ActorsI don't particularly think they hot at first glance. It's the drama itself that makes me fall for the actors. Some are overdoing it for the funny side. and for others reason also. Still I cheer up for those that can express their feelings onscreen. Acting skills: good to great.
Actresses Not much different than for Korean actors. But I need to say some are really naturally pretty but some are [...] to look at. I guess each one got their own definition of beauty. Some are great actresses too. But some are also overdoing it. It doesn't look natural enough to make me believe in the presented story. Acting skills: good to great.
[host - shows] simply TOO FUNNY !!! their shows are hilarious !!!! They are really enjoyable !!!
Environment: I don't know much about Korean famous places. From what I know they got nice sightseeing as well but I'm not that impress about it. But I believe it's due to my lack of knowledge !!! '
Cultural / habits : Ok. Korean seems like a nice place to live at. But there's a few thing that doesn't go along with me. Here's a few. Them eating from their cooking pot. I know it's not that much. It just that I don't like that. Seeing them speaking while eating. But I like how they poor the alcohol for the others. I like that.

KOREA

I'm a huge fan of K-pop & I think K-movies are better than J-movies . I don't care about the dramas , animation or the enviroment because I don't like them. I'm also not going to live in both countries

Anime's, fashion etc.. Its Japan. Who really cares about Korea? I mean from foreign people? Mostly they're interested in Japan.

Food - I'd pick Japanese. There's a lot of variety and distinct flavors. Korean food is a little too bland for my taste, though I do like kimchi.

Singers - Korean. More expressive and vocally talented.

Drama - no opinion on this. I haven't watched any korean or japanese dramas. ^^;;

Food: Japanese! i just prefer my food simple and not too oily. i love sushi!

Drama Serials: Korea altho i have only seen one japanese series so its not reli a fair judgement. the only jap series that i have watched was very depressing tho gud.

Food: Both. It's impossible to choose between them.

Fashion: Again both. I suppose I'll edge towards Japan a little with this one considering the amount of American style clothing in Korea which I dislike.

Animation: Japan. Right now I can think of several Japanese animes I enjoyed, Korean......I can't think of any, there probably were some they just weren't good enough for me to remember them

Music: Japan. I don't think the Korean language adapts to different styles of music as well as Japanese.

Dramas: Korean. I don't watch that many dramas but I've seen more Korean ones that were at least ok than Japanese ones.

Films: Korean. The plots are much better, visuals are better. Seen too much weirdness in Japanese films.

Environment: Both. Beautiful scenery in both countries.

Music - Korea - probably cause i listen to more korean musci than japanese, but i found their voices to be very versatile, there are singers with strong powerful voices and singers with angelic voices. and from what ive seen, i feel like many korean singers are very expressive when they sing. although i do like some japanese music too.

Drama - Korea - never seen a japanese drama before.

Enviroment - Both - they both have their own unique places to go to and own culture.

Looks - Koreans - i prefer koreans over japanese people probably due to the fact that the japanese people ive seen dont have has hot of a body as the korean guys. lol yea... im not saying its like that for all japanese and koreans but, the korean guys ive seen have hot bodies. And for the korean ladies, they tend to have wonderful skin.

Food: Japan. I've recently been to a korean restaurant and the thing I like most was the teriyaki chicken ''. And I love sushi.
Fashion: Both are fine... But the clothes Rain wore in Full House were pretty ugly.
Animation (Anime/Cartoons): Hands Down Japan. Who else can give you anime as great as Detective Conan and Bleach?
Music: Japan. I just like Japanese music more. Maybe it's the language. And the guys.
Drama Serials: Japan. I've seen both but Japan wins cuz they're shorter, not dragged out. The ideas differ instead of cancer cancer cancer everywhere. And the actors are awesome. 1 Litre of Tears, Nobuta wo Produce, Kurosagi, Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, Gokusen 2 etc. All PHENOMENAL.
Enviroment: Never been to either so I can't really say. But I really want to visit Japan one day. Hopes of meeting stars *_*.

Overall, I think Japan is just better. I like Kmovies though. I haven't seen many Jmovies. I love Japanese stars better cuz I guess I know more about them. Especially JE boys. I think Kim Jung Hoon from Goong is really cute though. Both countries have strong points and weak points. For me, Japan is the best with entertainment.

Environment: i don't know, but i'd love to visit both countries.

Food: Neither, but only because I haven't much exposure to either of them. But I don't like authentic sushi, and I didn't like kimchi that much either. :\ Love seaweed soup though!

Music: Korea. Much of Japanese music doesn't really appeal to me. I find myself not liking the voices of most Japanese singers. Yeah, I know, wtf, right? It's not that they sound bad, I just don't like the tone of their voices. Most of the time it seems like the artist's voice is too deep.

Dramas: Japan, hands down. I've seen many, many k-dramas, but a lot of them pale in comparison to Japanese dramas...and I've only seen a handful of j-dramas. J-dramas seem to have more substance to them than k-dramas too...as far as plotlines go, j-dramas definitely are more creative than k-dramas. Most k-dramas have the same recycled and overused plot...I think Korea should make more series than aren't soap operas. XD

Fashion: Korea. Japanese fashion is a little too wild and experimental for me, haha.

drama : i guess i'd say korean since most of their drama's targets general audiences (includes non-koreans) whereas j-doramas seemed to target only japanese viewers since most of their dramas relates to japans culture, everyday life, sorts like that. and most of their dramas seemed to be about family life and few of them bout female/male relationships.

anime : i seriously dont know why compared these two since anime is japan's power house.

fashion : i guess i'd pick korean fashion. i dont wanna be biased but all i see in tv were japanese teen girls wearing cutesy outfits and that's not really my style. i'm more of a sports kinda gal that likes comfortable clothes...

Try Japanese food, I have it weekly, sometimes daily. Even inexpensive ones are good. Everything is fresh. Good for health, good for skin. All woman like that. Don't try Korean food, the noodle is cold. Vegetible is in orange colour. Barbecue port smokes, don't eat if you're on expensive dress or have done expensive hairstyle. However, both are not in the same league of Chinese/French/Italian/Thai food.

J-fashion is cute. Korean fashion will make you look like a country girl trying to make an impression.

Japanese cartoons are good and I'm not aware of Korea has anything here.

Jpop was good but getting old. Korean music is so so, bundled with drama only.

Jdrama was good but actors/actress getting old. Japanese seems to like plastic surgery of ultra high nose these days. K-drama is for mom, check it out in the airport when K-star arrive, fans are 40-70 women, bring their kids along. Only exception is Rain, but he's a singer.

Drama Serials: Korea/Japan Why?
definatly korean, i dont know why but then i have been watching more korean drama's then japanese dramas. probably because japanese dramas i sometimes don't understand or they are too short. korean dramas tend to be more longer and with more "lovey dovey" added to it

Enviroment: Korea/Japan Why?
i never seen much of Korea's environment, but then all i can say is that im in love with japan and its sakura trees!

Anime: Japan!!!... hehe
Food: Japan... and Korean
Fashion: ... IDK... I thing Korean...
Songs: Korean songs!! I Love Rain's songs!! muhaha
Drama and film: Absolutly Korean movie haha

i vote for koreans bcz they are super cool and some of them hot and that stuff...i like their language and the famous people yes.. Koreans fighting

MUSIC: Korean...Nothing can be better than KPOP. DBSK, Super Junior, BIg Bang, SG Wannabe. so many!! I love kpop singers. they sing so good.

ANIME: Japanese. they have really cute animes! and fun to watch

FOOD: Korean... Korean food is delicious. they are addictive. i need kimchi!

FASHION: Korean. becauz they are so cute and pretty. elegant type of clothes.
Japanese clothes are nice but it can get really weird and things i will never wear.

DRAMAS: Korean becauz they are really really fantastic and addictive. i like dae jang geum,full house, my girl and so many others. i watched so many. they can move people emotionally and make you laugh and cry. Japanese dramas are too simple, & predictable.

MOVIES: Korean. they are really good movies! temptation of wolves! with Kang dong-won? oh my my! after that i continuew watching kmovie. and oh my! they are addictive. i didn't watch many of japanese movie. but the ones i watch were pretty bad. any good japanese movie suggestion?

PLACE: Korea. I wan to go there so bad!!! i going to save money to go there. if i have extra money i visit Japan. But first ! Korea!!

LANGUAGE: Korean. So smooth and beautiful language. I learning by myself and it's hard but worth it for my interest and love for the culure. Japanese doesn't sound good to me. too whiny.

BEATIFUL PEOPLE: I think both have beautiful people. but i like Korean better becauz they have tall nice body and face.

Overall,I prefer Korea, I like their Drama's and music mostly, I rarely watch Japanese drama's , its really boring and its over exaggerated to me.or listen to Japanese music..I like food..so it doesn't matter to me..which one lol..I like both style..Japan is more cute while korea has more of a sporty, mature style..
