Food: Japan, I really like their food especially teppan yaki and sushi! *dies* But that doesn't mean I don't like Korean food. But I only eat it once in...2 years. Really expensive, no fake lol. Their pancakes are delicious O_O!

Fashion: Japan, their clothes are LOVE LOVE LOVE! I love Japanese fashion overall lol.

Animation (Anime/Cartoons): Japan, though... Koreans do work with Japanese on Bleach and Naruto. But everytime when a Korean is involved with drawings and director... The episodes seems to be way below the anime standard quality of the show ._.;;

Music: Both, they both have their own style. Koreans tend to be more Americanized, which I like. Korea represents 'American' music now. The US industry sucks now, what the Koreans are doing now, is what US now should be : /
And Japan, well... Their music is overall... HAPPY JOY JOY xD Nevertheless, I like it. Though.. I'm sad they have such cheap dance moves lol.

Drama Serials: JAPAN! HOMG.. i seriously despise KDrama for it's draggy story. Love tri-angle... square or whtvr... they just won't come to the point in 16-20 damn episodes T__T
Jdrama is short, sweet, not draggy and better produced. Yup yup.. I always enjoy watching Jdrama's, at least they have variations =/ Unlike the Koreans. Never saw them doing a sportsdrama... cookingdrama or detectivedrama etc. It's always love-die situations that gives me one huge BANG X_x Ugh...

Environment: Korea. Japans seems to be so.. strict in everything! Suicide rate there is so huge O_o;;;

I love japanese food especially sashimi (grossing out people who can't eat raw fish) but I haven't really tried much Korean food to judge which I like more. I do like kimchi though..

For fashion, I think Japan is totally obsessed with it. You rarely see people casual on tv, it's all about fashion baby...

For music, I used to like Japanese laid music with thought provoking lyrics but not sadly too much boyband songs are at the top of the charts, sadly. I prefer Korean music, there's something about it that touches me so.

For drama, I think Korean dramas are better at weepy and over the top evil vs good characters. For funny, happy and touching I'd go for J-doramas myself and they're much shorter than K-dramas.

Food: Japan because I love sushi, sashimi and ramen!! I haven't tried much Korean food though, only the BBQ thing which is nice but I'm not a big fan of spicy food so I guess I have to pick Japanese!!

Fashion: Although Japan is known for their fashion, I find it a bit too extreme, so my vote goes to Korea where they have a more 'chic' image.

Animation (Anime/Cartoons): This one is too obvious!! I don't think there are many people who would pick Korea over Japan. I don't watch many Japan produce so many good ones and it's one of the things that Japan is well known for.

Music: I like both but recently I've been listening to more K-pop, but that doesn't mean I like it better. I can't decide!!

Drama Serials: I'm a K-drama addict!! Maybe because I like the whole melodramatic plots and love stories. Though I can't really compare because I've only seen a few old J-dramas, but as for now definately Korea!!

Enviroment: I haven't been to both so I can't really say but I'd love to visit them someday, only Japan is really expensive.

Overall, I think I like Korean culture more than Japanese, but only by a little!

Firstly, i'm not a fan of Korean (my sister is). I happen to be a big fan of Japanese though... and here are my reasons:

Food: Both I love trying new food from all over the world.

Fashion: Japan it's a little more rock like (that's my STYLE).

Animation: Japan!

Music: Japan! I love Japanese music. There are so many different people and different genres, and that is what keeps making me love it. Korean, I feel is very POP. I know that they have different genres but the big one is POP. Those tend to focus on clubs and parties which isn't cute. I'd asked my sister that (she loves korea, the whole, everything) and she couldn't tell me anything. Then i would say some of people aren't even old enough to be in a club or at a bar and yet their video is based on that. Funny I thought (STUPID! it makes no sense).

Drama Serials: Both. i don't watch korean dramas, but like 3, and they are good. Good plot but very dragging. sometimes its okay but not all of them should be. Japanese dramas are short and to the point, i wished that it'd be a little longer. Both are good to watch once in a while.

Enviroment: Both. I love seeing different parts of the world. Its a great experience!

Food: Korea. KIMCHI ALL THE FLIPPING WAY +D but then agian i like udon as well... :S but i liek kimbap mroe than sushi...(i hate sushi) so Korea.
Fashion: Korea. I'm not into Japan's outragoeus/funky fashion. They're boring too :S Korea's fashion seems more interesting.
Animation (Anime/Cartoons): Well of course Japan. I hve no intention in seeing a Korean cartoon show o_o;
Music: K-POP!!! Defiantely. It flows mor ein my opinion...more unique soudns too? But K-pop is a little americanzied.

Drama: K-drama are becoming too repetitive now, all the new interesting dramas are being ignored which is pretty sad like Que Sera Sera. This drama is actually very well done but didn't have good results because the genre is a little new. However, overall I still prefer K-drama more.

Environment: I prefer both, but since I live in the big city I prefer more nature and natural scenes from Japan. Korea is becoming too much of a metropoly like the US.

Well, my favourite food is sushi, and when I think of sushi, I think of Japan.
But that'll be a kinda biased answer since it's only basing my response on one type of food.
Thing is, i LOVE food. So honestly, the foods in Japan and Korea both float my boat.

Fashion:
Japan is a little too over-styled for me. I mean, it's too dramatic, and definitely not something I would wear on a normal daily basis. On the other hand, I wouldn't go full out Korea-style either, but if I really had to choose one, I'd pick Korea.

Music:
Both, really. Some of my favourite songs are Korean, and Japanese, because of the meaningful lyrics & wonderful melody.

Drama Serials:
Okay. This one is a hard one. So I'm going to say both again. Why?
Korean dramas have wonderful actors/actresses that portray their roles well, but the dramas tend to drag, but good chemistry is usually present.
Japanese dramas have exceptionally good actors/actresses that can also portray their roles well. J-Dramas are usually short, and fast-paced. But sometimes, I feel that it's so fast-paced, that the leads don't have enough chemistry.
Therefore, both.

Enviroment:
Honestly, I want to visit both places so very very badly.
From what I've heard though, Japan's environment is extremely clean and everything is well organized.

Food::
Both maybe? Since ive only tasted Sushi(Japan) & Kimchi(Korea)

Fashion: Japan...this may sound silly, but apart from Japanese fashion, I don't know the others...I've seen the dress sense of Asian people, but I grew up here in Australia and I'm just not sure which fashion sense is which country's, it confuses me the reason why I'm familiar with Japanese fashion is because I read an awful lot of Japanese fashion/beauty magazines, so I generally know their fashion sense...but I'm not familiar with all the others, that includes Korea...so my vote for this is probably bias. But, I'd just like to mention that even if I learn about all the different fashions from different countries, I'll probably still pick Japan overall because I've seen all the other fashions just by looking at the fashion sense of many Asians I come across, and I think Japan's fashion is still the most appealing out of all; Japanese fashion for females are generally very fancy and beautiful, while males is very cool and funky...and no offense, but I find some of the other countries' fashion sense quite "ugly"...so Japan again for me.

Animation: Japan hands down! Does Korea even have their own animations? I'm not sure...but Japanese animes are obviously very dominating, I've really enjoyed watching animes since I was really young.

Music: Because I'm very much into Japanese ent now, I listen to more j-pop than k-pop, so again my vote goes to Japan.

Drama / series: Japan, hands down! I'm really not into Korean series to be honest, I've watched some of them but all of them I thought were only just mediocre. I've noticed that Korean series are really repetitive when it comes to storylines, and it can become quite boring to watch because the story tends to be too cliched and predictable, not to mention they sometimes just drags on too long, and it seems they are always revolved around the concept of love, and sometimes Korean series tend to go around in circles before they actually get to the point. But jdoramas (Japanese series) in comparison are much shorter, sweeter and have a much broader range of different genres, and they tend to get straight to the point...but, if you are used to watching korean & chinese series, then you might feel that jdoramas are a bit rushed because they are much shorter, however, if you pay enough attention to the story, then you would understand it almost instantly. Even though Korean actors do tend to act better than some Japanese actors, but when it comes to the series itself, I much prefer jdoramas.

Environment: I don't know this one, because I've never been to either countries...but I honestly am more keen on visiting Japan more than Korea though.

Food: When watching korean dramas, you guys always saw them eating pots and pots of things, and BBQ right? To me those pots foods are a little extreme for me! Too salty! But some are really good spicy soups! woohoo! Those BBQ are really as good when you watch it in dramas..! But, I does love sushi a lot! Tasty! But, I'm quite scare of eating shashimi, really scary..! But, korean foods are more to chinese, so i can accept it more easily..! ^^
Fashion: Sorry to Japan fashions lovers, I know that Japan clothings are really cute and interesting..! But, in my country, peoples mixed it up into rubbish! I'm so scare of seeing them wearing, long black stockings.. and using bra strip to buckle on the hip! oh my! >< But, for korea fashions, i like those more to artistic, free casual clothings.. Doesnt like their cute clothings.. Will get bored of it..!

Lol And when I listen to Korean songs, they get stuck in my head for longer and just love the song more than I would Japanese songs, because they have as well known singers so I dont really know any. And Korean songs have meaningful lyrics!

I havent watched any Japanese series, and I just think nothing can beat a Korean drama!! They're the best!! Lol I just cant stop watching them if I start. They all get boring sometimes but I still like them and the ones with too many boring parts in I just dont watch them again.

The Koreans r NO better cuz they always copy the Americans...Japan's much better cuz they have their own style of music, they have more originality.

Dramas: Japan...my reasons have already been repeated many times b4, so I won't repeat them again...n i find Japanese actors WAY more appealing n better-looking! no offense but i find the vast majority of korean actors ugly n unattractive! there's only a small handful of korean actors who i think r actually good-looking, while the rest r just blah...but that's just me...

Food: Japan . I can live off SUSHI. And I am dying to go eat Ramen. Havent had the time to go try it. But sorry if Im being biased, but is Korean food, well from what I've seen and heard, there's a lot of raw food? I dont know. But yeah FROM WHAT IVE SEEN AND HEARD! haha I cant eat raw.

Fashion: Japan. Seriously, their uniform has always been my dream. Never gonna come true, I MEAN I WOULD BUY THEIR UNIFORM and could wear it out. It's so freaking cute! Korea's dress sense is like normal ? haha Japan is out their and has what you call originality.


Animation (Anime/Cartoons): Japan Korea can make good PC games, I'll give you that. But Anime, everybody knows DragonBall Z, Pokemon. HAHAH. I am an anime freak so Im biased.

Music: Japan haha I grew out of the Japanese and Korean Music Industry a long long time ago. The music was bugging me, (except for FTTS) but when I heard UVERworld (haha I like Jrock, some of it anyway) I love their songs. Their style is cool too. But I will say, Korea has talent, and is probably tied with Japan when it comes to really judging their music industry. Or it could even beat Japan with the nowaday likes of DBSK and Super Junior and Big Bang and whoever else you can name. But Korean music is not my style. So yeah. But I say, there are some very good dancers there =) Everyone says it's heavily influenced by American style. So what, well if only Americans may have created it, but everyone copies. that's how you get a Music Ind in the first place. No copying or sharing of ideas. Your career is a big DUD.

Drama Serials: JDramas Kdramas are heart wrenching, for like the first series. Then when it comes to the second one, after 20mins. you're like, AGAIN? Another Amnesia? Another I MUST LEAVE YOU BECUASE I AM DYING. Another "both characters trying to find each but never do even though theyre two inches away"? I mean sure, yes every drama has that not just Kdramas, but they take the cake for overkill! AND why do they have to drag it out for so long for. I mean how long is the third guy gonna like her for? Be constantly sweet to her and then turn into some nasty jealous evil scheming guy is like, A BIG CHANGE OF CHARACTER!
JDramas are straight to the point, FAST PACE and funny. Even when it's supposed to be serious, they have seriously weird but cute cold jokes.

Environment: Dont live there or ever been there so wouldnt have a clue.
I really wanna go to both though!

Overall - Im biased but Japan. But I like Korea too! Just not their music, or their artist's fan for that that matter.

Food--Jap foods maybe coz i haven't tasted much of korean foods

Fashion--Japan!!i noe yeah!!they like got the best uniforms in the world

Music--Korean..most of my faves songs are in Korean so yeah(for example DBSK, i like their Korean songs better that the jap ones)

Dramas--Both are unique in their own ways..Jap ones got Unique storylines while Korean ones are cool and funny that u'll enjoy

Language--KOREAN it sounds cooler

Animation--JAPAN of corz

Artist--KOREAN,, they are much more good looking


If i will be given the chance to visit one of these countries: i'll choose KOREA

my vote goes for JAPAN

i dont really like KOREA stuff, drama kinda boring, movies... not that awesome. the artists? too many boybands, which is junk talent

although i'm a huge fan of RAIN (coz he has this universality sense about him n his works), but i've never seen Rain like other typical korean artist, he's too big to be compared with most artists in Korea though.
i love Rain a lot but not Korea

and i adore Japan, so Japan has won my attention

Japanese dramas are more entertaining to watch? I dunno. It depends. Some korean dramas tend to be a little draggy IMO.

i go for japan. the japan language for japan is more easy to understand than korea. i once like korea too but when i start to watch japan drama and songs, i think japan is much more better. the language is also more 'polite'.
but for people, i do think that korean are more beautiful and handsome. do doubt. i always stunned when look at korean. they're just beautiful. man or woman, the same. their skin also very fair. just for voice, japanese smoother.

Food: Japan. I haven't tried a lot of Korean food yet but I like how many Japanese dishes are tasty and healthy. I want to try more Korean food!

Fashion: Both. I adore Korean beanies and sweaters. But for cosmetics, Japan's the winner.

Animation (Anime/Cartoons): Japan. Who doesn't know Japanese anime?
Music: Hm, this is hard. Both countries have good singers.
Drama Serials: Japan, hands down. As popular as they are, Kdramas have failed to capture my attention. It's been like this for about two years now. Japanese dramas, on the other hand, tend to focus on more subjects and they're more realistic. I'm sick of Kdramas and their romance plots.

Enviroment: Can't say. I haven't been there.

Food: Japan, blame Arashi no bangumis for that..LMAO
Music: Japan, i love it on how there's so many music artists, and most of the songs are really good
Drama: Japan, because even though they're short, most of the plots are really interesting and not boring
Fashion: Japan, basically i adore boots and scarfs

Food: for japan: i love teriyaki and tempura so much.... and their sushi is also good..
for korea: i love their sushi and their potato noodles that tastes like kimchi.
but i still prefer japanese food... there's a greater variety in palate....
Music: umm i actually dont care much about the music.... i like korean music... i dont know i just find japanese music kind of weird.
Drama: japan.... the mangas man! they're a winner.

FOOD: hmm... hard to choose since i'm not familiar with both foods but i go for korea since i really can't stand sushi.

MUSIC: Kpop 100%. i love korean songs so much. i can't stand Jpop esoecially female singers since they tend to have that squeaky voice, i find that quite annoying. there are some nice ones though...

DRAMA: Korean drama definitely. it has the x- factor that can keep me glued to watch it till the end. i love goong, fullhouse, winter's sonata, i hate you but it's fine and many more... as for japanese drama, i'm not too sure since i can't bring myself to finish watching one... they have nice mangas but unfortunately, it's drama adaptation is not to my taste. surprisingly, taiwan drama which are adapted from mangas are nicer. think like It Started With a Kiss and They KIss Again which were adapted from Itazura na kiss.

Fashion: harajuku is nice and there i love korean fashion too but here's the downside to both. i think japanese fashion style adapted from mangas are plain weird and korean fashion can be too revealing, watch music bank and you can see some singers wearing really exposing outfit you can notice their underwear.

environment: love both but i choose korea since i feel koreans are more friendly than japanese

Drama Serials: Japan. Korea ones are too draggy. Japan one are short and funny! (Other than 1 litre of tears)

Japan's food! Most definitely. Its healtheir, nicer, and its very refreshing too! For fashion, I'd take Japan, but only cause I adore the Harajuku doll style. Music, Japanese definitely. I'm in love with how Japanese sings all sorts of bubblegum pop songs. Drama, both, cause I like the diverse Jap dramas, but I like how deep Korean dramas goes too!.

Food: I'd have to say Japan and Korea! Japan sushi and katsu is really nice. They got varieties of food too, like sashimi, udon and donburi. Korean foods are really nice too ! Ramen, Bulgogi. OMG XD I can't choose seriously XD

Animation (Anime/Cartoons): for Anime, I'd choose Japan. Everybody knows that Anime comes from Manga and it's from Japan, so it's kinda obvious.

Music: BOTH XD Their music style are unique, but really different style. :]

Drama Serials : Korea! Their dramas are really good and popular esp after I watched BOF<33

Enviroment: Japan. I guess Japan's environment is cleaner and nicer? idk much though XD

soo. my conclusion iss. I love BOTH and I can't choose. They both are just 2 of 3 countries that I wanna visit really badly >.<
